About the event
Make great friends and lasting memories by joining Fairhaven Farm for a week of equestrian themed summer camp! For beginners, this week includes Introduction to horses, safety on the ground and in the saddle, riding basics and basic horse care; and teamwork; More experience riders are welcome and we will make sure you learn new skills suitable to where you're at on your "learning journey".
Price includes use of our horses, tack, helmets, t-shirt, staff, craft materials and facilities. You wear solid shoe and pants. Pack a lunch, drinks and sunscreen, allergy meds etc. I dont recommend this week to take a break from meds as you will be working with a 500-1000 lb animal and need to be at your best!
We will also have a daily cool down activity so bring a towel, creek shoes, and shorts/suit to change in to.
Friends and Family join us for a Horse Show Friday at noon to show off riding skills followed by horsemanship demo (untack, groom and put away) back at he barn. Light snacks for visitors as we know you're probably missing lunch!!! If you need to grab your camper and scoot out right after the show just let us now and we'll put their mount away for them.

Tweens and Teens Camp 2022
Tweens and Teens love bonding and hanging out so why not do it with your favorite animal, **THE HORSE** of course!! This will be a mix of beginners who can take direction and experience riders. We have a variety of ponies & horses but do have a 200# max. We can go slightly over for beginners who will be learning to stop, go and stear at the walk.
