About the event
Make great friends and lasting memories by joining Fairhaven Farm for a week of equestrian themed summer camp! On Day 1 of camp we discuss goals for the week and make sure they are realistic. Riders can expect to polish their basic skills all while working on their agreed upon goals/ new skills suitable to their "learning journey".
Price includes use of our horses, tack, helmets, staff, craft materials and facilities. You wear solid shoe and pants. Pack a lunch, drinks and sunscreen, allergy meds etc. For everyone's safety, I dont recommend this week to take a break from meds the camper takes during the year as you will be working with a 500-1000 lb animal and need to be at your best!
Weather and time permitting, we give the campers a cooldown activitiy option so bring a towel and splashwear!
Friends and Family join us for a Horse Show Friday at noon to show off riding skills. Campers can head out as soon as the show is finished or take this opportuntiy take pics and exchange contact info with their newfound human and horsey friends!

This week is geared towards riders who can independently halter, lead, groom and tack; mount and steer on their own SAFELY at the walk and trot. Many of the participants will have experienced the canter and some riders are very advanced!!
