Week 4 Horse Camp - Short Week 2024
All horses all fun! While we look forward to seeing EVERYONE, generally we recommend 7yo and above but have had very mature campers as young as five!!! Please come for an evaluation lesson if you're not sure.

About the event
Make great friends and lasting memories by joining Fairhaven Farm for a short week of equestrian themed summer camp! This week, riders may be grouped by skillset or age so Beginner-Advanced riders are all welcome. Beginners will get an introduction to horses, safety on the ground and in the saddle, riding basics and basic horse care; and teamwork; More experience riders are welcome and we are happy to reinforce skills they are working on polishing as well as introduce them to new things like jumping, barrels, cross country etc skill set permitting. Just let us know where you're at on your "learning journey" (cantering, jumping, patterns etc) and we can set some goals together!
Price includes use of our horses, tack, helmets, staff, craft materials and facilities. You wear solid shoe and pants. Pack a lunch, drinks and sunscreen, allergy meds etc. This is NOT the week to take a break from meds you normally take during the year as you will be working with a 500-1000 lb animal and need to be at your best!
Time and temps permitting we give the campers an option for a cooldown activity so bring a towel and splashwear just in case.
